Nicolas Sarkozy

Nicolas Sarkozy, France's president since 2007 had his yearly salary increased from 100,000 euros to 240 000, a 140% increase! The last president to have increased his salary was famous Général de Gaulle. But, he was paying for his living expenses, electricity, housing taxes, clothes... unlike the next presidents to who "salary" means "pocket money"...
